Insurance
The cost of your treatment can be greatly reduced if you have your own health insurance. We recommend that you check your policy details to see exactly how much of a reimbursement you are entitled to, as the amount can very between each company.
Absolute Physiotherapy is a member of the Irish Life Back up plan. If you have Health insurance with Irish Life and experience any back or neck pain take the following steps to get Back-Up
- Call Back-Up on 1890 717 717
- We’ll check a time and location that’s convenient for you, then book a triage assessment with a clinical case manager
- He or she will assess your injury and recommend a personalised treatment plan.
If medically necessary, members can receive up to 8 physiotherapy sessions, for a once off fee of €50.

Tax Relief
Tax Relief is available on all physiotherapy visits. 20-42% tax relief can be claimed on all medical expenses including visits to a Chartered Physiotherapist. This is dependent on your level of taxation.
You can claim tax relief by completing a Med 1 Health Expenses Form which can be found at revenue.ie.
